Accessing the service
CamoMail's Matrix instance is powered by Matrix protocol, and lets you access its decentralized and secure communication network. Two web clients are hosted by CamoMail and available to use: Element and Cinny. You can also connect to your account using a supported Matrix client. Please note, however, that Element X currently doesn't work with CamoMail accounts.
Server group chat
When your account is created, it is automatically added to the server group chat, that you can quit at any time. If you quit it and want to join it again later, write an email to support at camomail.org (PGP).
End-to-end encryption
By default, messages in Matrix are end-to-end encrypted for private chats. Be sure to store your recovery key in a safe place to ensure that you'll be able to recover your encrypted messages when using a new device.
